Wouldn’t it be lovely to have a grand closet with shelves specifically to organize tall boots? You may have this type of closet BUT if you don’t like myself, I have savvy ways to organize boots.
I prefer to keep my tall boots visible and not stored in boxes because you never know when it will be the perfect complement to an outfit. I’ve been organizing my boots a specific way for many years and whenever my friends come over to my house, they always say, “This is a great idea!”
Here’s What You’ll Need First:
Felt Hangers
Pant Hangers
OTK – Over The Knee Boots
Take one of your felt hangers and fold over your taller over-the-knee boots. I find this keeps OTK boots in the best condition and easier to store in your closet. Bonus points if you have a lower level rack in your closet to hang your boots.
Just Below The Knee Boots
Take a pant hanger and clip your boots together. Be sure to adjust clips to the top edges of your boots. For uneven boot tops/edges, place clips towards the center of the hanger. Make sure to clip from the inside of your boots. See images below.
