Since I’m not attending Fashion “Month” this season, I’ve been catching up with all the runway shows online. I got inspired to play beauty dress up from Dior’s 60’s vibe at Paris Fashion Week. Their twist was an artistic Twiggyesque look which is a bit avant garde.
I’ve been wanting to play around with hairstyles and makeup lately that’s why I spent the day creating a few looks here. My sister is a hairstylist and makeup artist (find her @MLRockot) and lives close by which is convenient. I asked her if she was game to recreate a few looks and she was.
I showed my sister my mood boards (see below) which consisted of images from Dior’s makeup Instagram page and Charlotte Tilbury’s IG. We morphed the two together and came up with a bubble gum, bombshell 60’s hairstyle and makeup look.
I really wanted to use a few hair pins and clips I recently bought. FYI, hair accessories are one of the biggest trends this season. It’s like being a little girl all over again wearing fun hair clips and barrettes.
