Style Savvy: Since I’m not able to travel right now to some beachy islandy destination, I can dress as if I were. Throwing on a maxi dress with interesting detail like my SINGLE dress with geometric prints and leather buckle strap is more exciting than just a plain solid color cotton tank maxi, don’t you agree? Of course I can’t go without some baubles like my vintage Christian Dior necklace, few bangles, rings and vintage Timex watch. Instead of slipping on your typical flip flops (I know ladies, I love my Havaianas too) – up your style savvy and try something like these patent leather Kate Spade sandals instead.

Personal Style: Resort Chic
Thoughts:Â Today I’m feeling somewhat introspective. I’ve been thinking about what I’m doing with my life, what I want, what I don’t want, where do I want to be at the end of this no shopping challenge next year, blah, blah, blah. It’s tough to think about my future because I really don’t know anything right now. I don’t have any answers. I have goals and that’s all I’ve got for now. As far as needs, wants … not sure either. I think I just gotta roll with the one day at a time deal. Thank goodness I’m not one to dwell on my past or have regrets but the future, that’s tricky. Hence, focusing on today.
It’s also tough when I’m feeling a little lonely. I know I’m not alone and I’m a busy gal but I have moments where a delicious kiss and warm hug would be nice from a big hunky guy (preferably one that makes me laugh too).
