Outfit Purpose: Baby Shower Brunch
Style Savvy: I’m noticing a lot of my outfit ensembles are relating to my “boho chic or boho glam” style as of late. What is that? It’s a polished, modern spin on bohemian. Not super hippie or renaissance, just a splash of it. Hence my outfit of the day. Denim jeans are a definite staple in a wardrobe and can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair it with. I paired my Paige Skyline ankle peg jeans with my Single Hannah top, Sam Edelman wedges, Oia Jules necklace, and vintage arm candy. More looks with my fave wedges here, here and here.

What’s Going On With Me: Today was a whirlwind from packing up this morning in Los Feliz then off to one of my besties baby shower brunch in Pacific Palisades. Most of the women at the baby shower are close friends of mine, so it was good to catch up with all of them. I’m feeling nostalgic because I’ve been around my girlies this weekend and it hits me to the core how much I miss them. I’m still trying to get use to my life in transition. I just want things to feel normal again, at least my sense of normal. I know it takes time and it’s a process but it sucks. I hate feeling vulnerable and raw still.
I was actually a block away from where I use to live with my ex-husband today when I stopped to fuel up. It felt weird. I’m still figuring out where “home” is for me. Eventually it will be clear but for now, lost in translation (one of my fave movies btw).
Thoughts: Being passive aggressive is so unattractive and never a complementary outfit to put on for the day. I’ve been on the receiving end of a little passive aggressive behavior recently and what I feel is… compassion. I know it comes from a place of insecurity, fear, pride and vulnerability. It truly saddens me when a person partakes in this action because I know afterwards they’re left feeling the negative effects of their actions. The ONLY reason I can say this for a fact is because I have done this in the past.
