Style Savvy: Here’s a great example of my two fave color combos … navy and black. I paired my Hervé Leger dress with an H&M faux fur collared coat and edged it up with my Sam Edelman spiked heels and silver Marc Jacobs clutch. Simple and black doesn’t have to be boring if you pay attention to details, like faux fur and amazing high heels.
Personal Style: Winter Sophisticated
Thoughts: It’s the first for everything this year. This holiday season is different without my ex-husband and living in Santa Monica. Although there were some holidays we didn’t spend together when we were married, it’s still different. I know I’ve mentioned this before but I feel like I’m dreaming and one day I’ll wake up and my life will be back to the way it was. I know that’s completely unrealistic. I just feel so uncomfortable some days. Here’s an example – say you aren’t a leather pants person but you really want to buy a pair and wear them. So you do and it feels strange, you feel uncertain and uncomfortable. Well, that’s how I feel. Questions spin through my head like, “Am I really here?” “Is this my life now?” Of course it is, duh. I tell myself, “Keep moving forward, you’ll be fine.” So that’s what I’ll do.
