I usually don’t get super excited about designer collaborations because most of the time they’ve been disappointing in quality. A very hyped H&M x Balmain collection goes on sale November 5th and I’m anxious to see and feel these pieces in person. The edgy ad campaigns feature millennial models including the ever-so-popular Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, making the collection look fashionably appealing I have to admit.
Racked just posted the 100-piece collection in its entirety including prices. I was a bit sticker shocked but hoping the prices stand up to the quality. This collection is clever with its contrarian style direction. Each piece masterfully takes the best design aspects from 70’s disco to 80’s Michael Jackson’s Thriller years. As I scanned each piece, I felt my heart beating at a higher pace and I felt my smile growing bigger. Ok H&M, you got me. I’m dying to get my hands on some pieces. I hope I can before it sells out.
