The holidays are here! This calls for upping your holiday style. This year I want to be comfortable yet chic. Because it’s getting colder, I also need to keep myself warm.
If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know I’m all about adding new pieces that I can restyle with my existing wardrobe. It’s all about being savvy with shopping and styling.
To achieve a chic comfy style for the holidays, I look for luxe fabrics in classic colors and prints. Think cashmere, velvet, jacquard, brocade, shimmer and metallics.
One of my favorite places to look for these pieces is Chico’s. Now that I’ve owned a few pants and sweaters from this brand, I’m hooked. Especially their pants. I’m obsessed with the quality of fabrics and the way their pants fit and feel. It’s so hard to find good pants, you know?
While I was perusing Chico’s online shop for my holiday outfits, I scrolled through their holiday gifts section. I want them all for myself! I’m known as the “hard to buy a gift” person. If you have a few of these ladies in your life, I picked out a few pieces I love. So I know they’ll love them too.
WHY I LOVE THIS LOOK
First of all, you can never go wrong with a monochromatic outfit. Wearing one color helps you look lean and tall. We all love that! Secondly, I love the extra flair this leopard print jacket adds. It’s lightweight enough to layer over warmer fabrics, so you’re not boiling.
To polish off my outfit, I added bold baubles like this reversible pendant necklace and chunky charm bracelet with magnetic closure. I’ve been a huge fan of Chico’s jewelry for years. If you haven’t shopped their jewelry, the holiday is the perfect time!
WHY I LOVE THESE GIFT IDEAS
I decided to curate two separate gift sets. The first set I put together is this rhinestone beret and faux pearl/crystal embellished scarf both in venetian pink are perfect for the woman who loves to be cozy yet chic.
