This is my first post for 2013! Are you a resolutions or goals person? I tend to sway more on reflection and setting goals. With this blog, one of my goals this year is to create content that is heavier on the “savvy” side. Meaning, more tips and how-to’s that are quick, simple and easy. I’ve also received requests for more videos, so stayed tuned!
For my outfit of the day … as you can see I have a lot of graphics going on with this ensemble from a colorful sequin jacket to my fave octopus sweatshirt, 80’s inspired jeans (also here) to snakeskin boots. It’s a kaleidoscope of colors, textures and patterns. Savvy Style tip: when mixing more than 3 colors and various patterns – make sure one item is your “anchor” piece. My anchor piece for this outfit is the charcoal gray sweatshirt because it’s not in the same color family as all my other pieces I’m wearing. It pulls together everything making this one cohesive and chic look of the day.
