From time-to-time I get my hands on savvy gadgets that happen to also be stylish. My most recent find is the new Sensor Mirror Compact by Simplehuman. I already own a few household items from this brand because I’m a fan of their designs and engineering.
It didn’t surprise me that I would absolutely dig their compact mirror. Just think, you can get tru-lux lighting on the go with this beautiful rose gold brushed metal mirror. The tru-lux light system simulates natural sunlight, allowing you to see full color variation, so you’ll know when your makeup is color-correct and flawless.
I always joke that I wish I had a machine I can walk through in the mornings that would Photoshop me for the day. Well, this mirror won’t exactly do that but it will definitely help with your makeup application IRL where it looks flawless.
The size is perfect because I can use the back d-ring to prop up on my vanity to apply my makeup on in the morning. The 3x magnification gives you a hyper-clear view of every detail. Sensor turns light on automatically when taken out of the sensor pouch, and turns it off when put back in.
Before I leave my house, I pop it into my handbag while I’m running around all day to check my makeup. The power button lets you toggle between 650 or 300 lux dual brightness settings. This makes touching up easy so that I look as fresh as I did before leaving the house in the morning.
It also comes with an attached button strap that keeps the mirror secure inside the pouch. The mirror is rechargeable, with one charge lasts up to 1 week with typical daily usage.
