Style Savvy: I’m a firm believer that you can still be comfy, casual and chic while running errands around town. Ladies, get out of the yoga/workout wear as your standby for running errands. The outfit I’m wearing today is so comfortable from my sheer chiffon top to my J. Brand boyfriend jeans and ShoeMint suede heels. Accessories I kept simple with an understated rose gold crystal pendant necklace, dainty bangles and hoop earrings along with a snakeskin leather belt. Personal Style: Casual Chic
Thoughts: Today I’m feeling melancholy hence the easy, no fuss casual chic outfit. It’s the air. I finally smelled the fall season in the air. There was a slight chill, crispness and wind today. I’m super sensitive to changes in the weather. It always brings me back to a memory either from not too long ago or from my childhood. This time I was brought back to this time last year when I was still married to my now ex-husband.
It’s weird because no matter how hard I try, I can’t remember anything significant except the feeling I had this time last year which was loneliness. There were a lot of times where I felt lonely in my marriage and it wasn’t because my husband wasn’t physically around. Anyway, without going into a long story getting longer … that’s where I’m at today. Still feeling lonely and wondering where I’m headed in this new phase of my life.
