Style Savvy: I’ve had this Diane Von Furstenberg modern vintage wrap top forever! If you buy a classic DVF wrap dress or top, it will be a piece you’ll covet and wear year after year. I paired it with yes, another leather/cotton/lycra skirt but this one is a pencil skirt as opposed to yesterday’s skirt (view here) which was flared. My armcandy is a mix of new and vintage pieces, Mango ankle strap heels and my Kate Spade clutch pouch which adds a little whimsy to my outfit.

What’s Going On With Me: I’m actually beyond giddy today, I’m ecstatic! As I’m writing this, it’s super late because I had to prep all my columns for the next five days. Why? Because I’ll be spending them with a special visitor who flew to Cali to be with me. That’s pretty much all I can say about this for now. Sorry! It’s seriously so freakin’ late to the point if I don’t reset the time stamp on this blog post it won’t publish on day 54 of my challenge. What I can talk about is that I had so much fun styling my new friend on the morning news this week and she rocked all the looks from head-to-toe. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you’ll see her outfit photos. Okay, I can barely keep my eyes open and I still have to wash my face and brush my teeth, oy! Besides, do any of you read this part anyway?
Thoughts: You can’t change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about the future. I saw this on Facebook earlier. I constantly need to be reminded to stay in the moment. If I revisit the past, what good does that do? Yes, I can reflect and learn but I don’t need to dwell or relive it when I can’t change what’s already past. AND jumping into the unknown future is ridiculous because who the “F” knows what can happen tomorrow, next week, next month. No sense in driving myself crazy over that either. Staying in the moment and present is always a good choice.
