Outfit Purpose: Daytime excursion
Style Savvy: This look is a no-brainer. Every woman should own a colored pair of ankle fit jeans, a white t-shirt, colorful scarf and fedora hat. The way to change up this outfit if you wanted to repeat it the next week is to use a different scarf or a statement necklace, no hat or different hat and of course different shoes … maybe a ballet flat or wedge. I’m wearing Paige Denim jeans, Joe Fresh for JCP shirt, Old Navy scarf, 3.1 Phillip Lim heels and a mix of vintage and new costume jewelry.

What’s Going On With Me: I’m not going to complain and moan about lack of sleep today. I did catch up on some zzz’s but I could use more (wink). Today was prep day for blogging and other columns I’m writing. I’m on the road again tomorrow back to L.A. for an event in Malibu and then another event on Wednesday night in Beverly Hills. I’m actually bringing SD guy with me. I KNOW! Well, he’s cute, helpful, funny, a good sidekick to have amongst other things I won’t mention (hint hint). I did manage to hit the hiking trails today and do some running. Being outdoors, breathing in the air and sweating really helps with all that mental chatter I have. Yes exercise is good for the body but right now I need it more for my sanity.
Thoughts: Sometimes I pop open this daily meditation book for women and read what the message is for the day. Today’s message is about how our imagination will offer ideas and courage one needs to go forth. I’m paraphrasing … it reads our imagination offers us ideas to ponder, ideas for our specific development and a belief in ourselves. The magic of believing offers strength and capabilities even beyond our fondest hopes. This resonates strongly with where I’m at in my life today.
