Style Savvy: Because I’m not feeling a 100%, dressing can be a chore but picking out something cheery can switch my mood at least for a little while. Stripes and a sailor style shorts or pants are classics. I’ve had these two pieces (top & bottoms) for about 9 years I think. I paired my ensemble with one of my fave Prada wedges circa 2007.

What’s Going On: I feel like ass. Yes, I said it. I feel lightheaded, yucky, dizzy, foggy, itchy, hot…basically like a truck ran me over. I’ve been on antibiotics to get rid of an infection and the side effects are messing with me. Not to mention it’s “that time of the month” and I’m super sensitive to medications. It’s like the Bermuda Triangle. I’ve been having to rally for certain responsibilities and commitments which has proven to be challenging. Most of my day was spent resting. It’s touching to have a man want to take care of me while I’m illin’.
