Style Savvy: I haven’t been near my closet in about 5 days, so I’ve been trying to make due with the clothes from my closet that have been traveling with me. I didn’t really plan properly either. Oh well. At least I had this little number to sport while out and about on a sunny warm San Diego day.
Stylist tip: I had flat sandals in my purse for when my feet got tired of being in heels or for situations where heels are just a tad over the top. Although I never think heels are over the top, I’ll rock my high heels to a pool party any day but I’m in SD and some gatherings are way, way casual.

What’s Going On: Although I’m relaxed and spending time with family, my boyfriend and some other peeps over this holiday weekend, I’m feeling somewhat disconnected. Most of my week I’ve spent remote (not at home) – from a few days in LA to time at my sister’s and the rest of my days/nights at my man’s place. It’s like I’m in limbo. My state of affairs in all life sectors are still up in the air. Nothing has the signed, sealed, delivered stamp on it yet.
I’m moving forward everyday despite how I feel at times. Like when I want to stay under my covers in bed and forget about everything. I think I’m freaking out that this Shop My Closet challenge is getting close to ending and I have no clue what’s going to happen. I mean who does this sort of thing for a year and writes about it daily? I must be living in bananasville.
