Outfit Purpose: Out & About
Style Savvy: Leather (faux leather) and denim are one of my favorite combos. Designers and retailers are offering unique pieces in leather and faux leather, like my sweater/leather dress for instance. The one piece that I’d die to have in my closet right now is a pair of leather sweatpants (VIEW HERE). I know I’ve mentioned this a couple of times in my blog but I believe it’s an investment piece worth purchasing.

What’s Going On: Yesterday’s lackluster mood unfortunately carried into this morning. By mid-afternoon/evening my spirit finally shifted to feeling inspired. My mom made a good point today, she said when I don’t have anything going on, I get bored and then start to get into my head about all sorts of things. Idle time isn’t my friend but there are days where I want to relax, stay in bed and watch movies. There’s nothing wrong with that. I had plans tonight so that prompted me to shift my gears. You know…take a shower, brush my teeth, do my hair and makeup, etc.
Tonight was an evening of great conversations, smiles, laughs, compassion and getting to know new people. I’m always inspired when I meet an entrepreneur who’s not only successful several times over but a true visionary and innovator. It motivates me to keep aspiring to my visions and goals, no matter how far fetched they may sound to others. BTW, I finally got my cannoli I was craving on Day 212 at this amazing Italian restaurant in Encinitas called Trattoria i Trulli. I should’ve gotten one to go. Oh well!
