Style Savvy: Trying to get wintery with my outfits but living in San Diego doesn’t lend to much bundling up. To wear my super chic wool trench from Maison Scotch, I had to pair my Kik Vantage studded tank underneath so I wouldn’t overheat. My cashmere scarf (knitted by a dear friend as a past Christmas gift) came in handy as it got chillier later in the evening. This outfit shows another savvy way to rock your boyfriend jeans and strappy ankle heels. I’m Wearing | J. What’s Going On: At this very moment I’m taking a deep breath. Exhale. Pause. Sigh. I’m not sure how to complete this entry tonight. As you can see my mood states “perplexed” and that’s where I’m at. Also slightly in shock and somewhat confused. Words are very powerful. I use to lean towards the saying, “Actions speak louder than words” but now I believe words can also be more powerful than actions. Words can make a person feel loved, supported, hurt, sad, rejected, angry, betrayed, understood, etc. You name the feeling and a word or combination of words can have this effect. AND then there’s words and statements being said that completely don’t match up to actions therefore leaving one to feel perplexed. Well folks, that’s where I’m at. I trusted in a few statements like, “I’m not going anywhere if you’re not” and “I’m in love with you” but the action to follow unfortunately didn’t align with those words. Breathing in. Exhaling. Pause. Sigh.
