Style Savvy: Feeling reflective today which makes me gravitate towards black and white color blocking. Because the weather has been fantastic, I’m still able to mix a few summer pieces with my fall/winter items. This outfit is a Chanel inspired mashup from my BCBG Max Azria skirt to my Mango sweater, Elmer Ave. blazer, Zara heels and St. John handbag. And mustn’t forget the vintage Chanel earrings, Love Tatum cocktail ring & cuff, vintage Timex watch.

What’s Going On: Yes ‘reflective’ because today is 6 MONTHS of consecutively shopping my closet and blogging about it daily. Not to mention we are in a new year. My abbreviated version of 2013 goes something like this …
- Step-father died of brain cancer.
- Celebrated 6 year wedding anniversary on a romantic vacay with husband.
- Moved from Santa Monica to San Diego with a broken heart due to the shock of my divorce.
- Went on a blind shopping binge for 2 months.
- Realized I was broke after my fashion binge.
- Started 365 Days Shop My Closet Challenge on July 7, 2013.
- Had an SD fling.
- Meeting and connecting with new friends in San Diego.
- On-air style segments for Wake Up San Diego.
- Went to Hawaii.
- Discovered more of what I want and don’t want in my life.
- New Stylist for FINE Magazine in San Diego.
- Casted on a reality show The Romance to possibly find love.
- Met a man while filming the reality show at a black-tie gala (he’s not on the show)
- Spent most of December dating said man above and laughing a lot.
- Planning my publicity tour for this challenge and coinciding book.
- New Year’s eve kiss and an exchange of “I love you”.
- Fell in love and didn’t find my champion but found something better … a man of “excellence”.
