Outfit Purpose: High Tea Luncheon Fundraiser
Style Savvy: Today I was literally in this outfit most of the day except for my silk robe while getting ready and PJ’s when I got home tonight. I had a fundraiser event in Newport Beach and needed to look stylishly chic. The lace detail on my SINGLE dress is bananas! When you see it in person and touch it, it’s the most exquisite lace and very delicate. To rock out my look a little and make it fun and flirty, I opted for my J. Crew studded skinny belt, vintage jewelry, bullet ring from CC Skye and Jimmy Choo pumps. I was debating on another high heel in black and white snakeskin with very thin straps. Now thinking about it, would’ve been a better choice. Next time.
Personal Style: Stylishly Flirty
Thoughts: I don’t even know if “humming” is a legit word to describe a mood but I’m going with it. The reason why I feel like I’m humming, not literally humming, like humming noises…but humming in life is because I’m on the go. Keeping it moving. Not worrying about the past or living in the future. My days are flying by so quickly that I can’t tell if I’m living in the moment. I think I am. I try to breathe in and absorb every minute because life is so precious. You never know what can happen.
Today I heard this man speak about how the Ronald McDonald House in Orange County helped him when his wife passed away while giving birth to his son who had to be hospitalized due to health issues. This house provides families with a “home away from home” so they can stay close to their hospitalized child at little to no cost. When I hear stories like this first hand, it makes me value and appreciate my life even more and think about how I can be of service to others.
